What is an Escape Room?

Players are locked inside a heavily  themed room, and need to work as a team to solve a series of puzzles, riddles and tasks in order to escape the room. You and your team will have 60 minutes to complete the mission. Each game is ideally for 2-6 players

What games can I play?

Our escape rooms consist of 2 sections. Our bar section entails a choice of 2 games, Prohibition OR Locked Inn. Our other section is our Viking game.

Is it good for Team Building?

Escape Rooms are an excellent way for teams to learn to work together, and we host corporate days in association with other team building events on site. Visit our corporate page for more details.

Is it good for birthday parties?

Yes escape rooms are becoming one of the most popular choices for birthday parties or any celebration, for all ages! You can organize food and drinks after and if you wish you can hide a card or a small present in the room within one of the puzzles for an extra special surprise. Please organize this with us in advance of play.

Will I be in a group with strangers?

No. All of our rooms book privately, so you don’t have to worry about playing with strangers.

Are the rooms wheelchair accessible?

Our rooms are wheelchair accessible, but with limited restrictions. PLEASE NOTE: Before booking, you must contact leisuremax on 053 9122 900 to be instructed on full information.

Can I get hints?

Of course! We offer unlimited hints to you while you’re playing, with no penalty applied for hints.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, ample parking right outside the building free of charge

Is it scary?

Our games are not designed to scare.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

The minimum amount of players needed is 2 and the maximum allowed is 6.

How much does it cost?

Prices start at €25 per person for 2 player games, €22 per person for 3 & 4 Players and €20 Per person for 5 & 6 player games.

What age is it suitable for?

All our games are suitable from 10 years and up. Younger players may still participate, but some puzzles may be too difficult. Children under 16 may need help, and it is necessary that an adult comes with them.

Can I leave to go to the toilet during the game?

We have facilities on site and would recommend players use them before the game, as toilet breaks interrupt the experience and eat into your game time for everyone.

What if I’m claustrophobic?

All our games are monitored and if you feel you need to leave at any time you can.

How long does it take?

Game play lasts an hour, but it’s up to your team how quickly you can do it!

What if I don’t escape?

You’re trapped inside forever!

Can I bring food or drink?

No, we cannot allow food or drink in the rooms, but please check out our menu for the food and drinks provided in our Big AL’s restaurant or check out our new Pancake House with drinks, make an evening of it check out our adult packages served with alcoholic (Strictly 18 years plus ID is required)… Ask for a menu at our reception.

Do I need my reading glasses?

Yes, If you use reading glasses, they will be needed in our escape rooms. Some of the games require reading clues to be answered.
